Qingming Festival Customs-Holiday Notice

Qingming Festival, between April 4 - 6 every year, is a festival for worshipping, ancestor worship and tomb sweeping. The Qingming Festival originated from the ancestor worship and spring sacrifice customs in ancient times. It has both natural and humanistic connotations. It is not only a natural solar term, but also a traditional festival. Qingming Festival is known as one of the four major traditional festivals in China, along with the Spring Festival, Dragon Boat Festival and Mid-Autumn Festival.

During the Qingming Festival, we will commemorate and spend this festival through various activities. There are many customs about the Qingming Festival, the most important of which is tomb sweeping and ancestor worship. There are also many other activities, such as outings and tree planting. Traditional festivals are closely related to food. The traditional food of the Qingming Festival includes Qingtuan, Qingming dumplings, etc.
